I would say that our students are definitely in the driver seat but it’s a new way of thinking about education – we call it horizontal learning – we are all learning from each other.
—Jesse Dreikosen, U of I Faculty
I firmly believe that online learning can be as interactive, hands-on, and experiential as an in-person class. Our professors understand how experiential learning is the type of learning that really sticks, so they design assignments that require student engagement, reflection, conceptualization, and experimentation with each major new concept or skill.
—Leda Kobziar, U of I Faculty
Each student at The University of Idaho has access to our talented faculty and staff. We will invite students to meet with an advisor every semester to craft their strategy for the career that they dream of.
—Kay Kay Weso, U of I Advising
Our faculty are experts in their fields — we are nationally known and recognized for our research, so we are able to connect students with research opportunities, data, resources and partners across the world using our networks.
